BREAKDOWN OF RIHANNA’S OCEAN’S 8 PREMIER LOOKS BY FENTY BEAUTY GLOBAL MAKEUP ARTIST

Just like with everything she does, Rihanna made quite the stir by becoming a part of the fabulous Ocean’s 8 roster that includes Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Akwafina and Helena Bonham Carter. And for obvious reasons, the rest of the cast is smitten by her. You can see them gushing over her at every talk show they go on. We totally feel ya, Paulson. Quite honestly, we can’t blame them because if we even got to be an extra or an assistant on her set, we would NEVER stop talking about it for the rest of my life. But for now, we’re so excited that Priscilla Ono, Fenty Beauty Global Makeup Artist, has shared with us the step by step breakdown of Rihanna’s Ocean’s 8 US and UK premiere looks. So, let’s get to it, homie –

NEW YORK PREMIERE

To create Rihanna’s premiere look, Priscilla Ono used all Fenty Beauty products (like, of course!), starting with Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Primer to prevent shine and pave the way for smooth makeup application. She then applied Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation in 340 for a soft matte complexion and Match Stix Matte Skinstick in Peach to conceal, for the ultimate flawless complexion. Post that, Priscilla used Match Stix Matte Skinstick in Mocha, a few shades deeper than Rihanna’s complexion, to contour and define her face. And to achieve a subtle radiance, the makeup artist used the Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in Moscow Mule/Ginger Binge as a blush on Rihanna’s cheeks and up through the temples.
To finish the look, Priscilla applied Invisimatte Blotting Powder on the t-zone to absorb excess shine and diffuse pores for an instantly filtered appearance.

To contour and define Riri’s face, Priscilla used Match Stix Matte Skinstick in Mocha, a few shades deeper than the base. Next, to achieve a sexy radiance, she used the Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in Moscow Mule/Ginger Binge as blush on Rihanna’s cheeks and Hu$tla Baby from the Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in Mean Money/Hu$tla Baby as a highlight, up through the temples. And voila, she was ready for the kill! And you can be too. Yes, you can!
