If Kashmir is paradise on Earth, then Leh and Ladakh, situated amidst the Great Himalayan and Karakoram ranges, is a heaven of solitude on Earth. You might be skeptic of the region for its high altitude and challenging terrain (even we too were!), but the sheer scenic beauty of Ladakh will tempt you to let go of all your inhibitions and take that first step to purify your mind. To explore this world of tranquillity, be ready to be mesmerized by the magnificence of Shanti Stupa, and to spend all your time admiring mountain flowers and streams flowing by or gazing at the calmness of snow-covered peaks, deep valleys, and pristine blue sky. Nubra Valley, Pangong Lake, Magnetic Hill, and Khardung La Pass are among the many exhilarating sights that have the power to encapsulate the senses of the beholder with their everlasting allure. One of the most charismatic moment is to catch the reflection of entire Chang Chenmo range in the crystal clear water of Pangong Lake; it’s truly so sublime and soothing.
