“The worst thing you could look like in Paris is a tourist, one must pair down wardrobe essentials and always carry well made accessories- but in the correct manner and the right balance. Paris fashion week street style isn’t real life and best not to use it as a guide to what to wear. Leather essentials are key and the quality of tailoring of your black pieces of clothing are what will indicate your level of foreign, a simple tshirt and leggings is a little too lazy, but paired with the right jacket and flats is an outfit that will work anywhere. Comfortable shoes cannot be over looked so buy gel pads to keep you going. Also important to wear local design talent for your home country so you have something interesting and unobtainable to say when someone asks you where you got that.”
