Okay so I have a theory – there are mainly two kinds of New York girls – the one with bangs and the one with a center parting. The rest is just variations of them – wavy lob with center-parting, wavy lob with bangs, slick pony with center-parting, slick pony with bangs, slept-on chignons, with bangs or center-parting of course.etc. etc. You get the gist. But one thing is for sure, even if an NYC girl has spent time getting ready, her look would still seems effortlessly chic.
Guess that’s the reason why a New York girl prefers nude lipsticks over bright ones, light smokey eyes over dramatic colour shadows, and just a dab of creamy highlighter over taking her contouring A-game to town. She’s never boring, she’s works her look according to time and occasion but gives it a little twist. Always!
