Post their recent collaboration with Supreme and previously with Fendi and Anti Social Social Club, the iconic German luggage brand Rimowa has collaborated with Off-White, the hottest brand on the radar to launch a transparent suitcase! And it’s going to be a trendsetter whether you’re ready or not. We think the TSA will be mighty pleased with the Rimowa and Off-White collab.

Designer Virgil Abloh’s thinking behind the transparent Rimowa x Off-White is to let consumers participate in the design process. “It’s like 3.0 of personalisation. It’s not just putting your initials on it but allowing another layer to come in play,” he explained. “There’s an emotional component to owning [the suitcase] and you become a performance art piece just by using the thing. It’s like putting your items on display and rethinking the premise of a product.”
A part of us is excited to play with this Rimowa and Off-White suitcase and the other part is super scared to show the world the stuff we’ll carry to our travels. We all have quirks, okay?! And what fun it’ll be to guess whether people are leaving for a travel or coming back from one by looking at the state of the contents inside. Fun game to play while waiting for your luggage, don’t you think?
