The Iconic Maison Karl Lagerfeld exclusively collaborates with Cover Story in India
A celebration of trademark Lagerfeld aesthetics!
With his signature timeless and sophisticated aesthetics being a continuous source of inspiration for one and all, Karl Lagerfeld reigns over the world of fashion, even posthumously. You know, EDITH (Even Dead I’m The Hero); that works for Lagerfeld as well. And as his maison unfolds its global expansion plans, it collaborates exclusively with Cover Story in India to influence us through the World of KARL experience, thereby giving us an opportunity to add some Lagerfeld signature style to our wardrobe.
Capturing Lagerfeld’s minimalist aesthetic, the daywear collection features crisp, clean silhouettes (crafted in black and white, with highlights of red) that can be worn to the boardroom or at brunch. Like poplin shirt dress, peplum white shirts, houndstooth fit & flare dress, logo belts and even, black tie. And the evening collection celebrates the glamour of Parisian nights with georgette-sleeved tuxedo dress, black sequined jumpsuit and an androgynous tuxedo among other styles.
Striking a perfect balance of classic and contemporary, this collaboration celebrates trademark Parisian aesthetics with a rock-chic edge. And the fall/winter 2019 collection will be available at Cover Story’s outlets in Mumbai and Delhi, while also being showcased at special pop-up shops in New Delhi’s Select City Walk and DLF Promenade for a period of six months from 17th October 2019.
